I've spent the last five years living and working across Asia Pacific in senior commercial leadership roles — General Manager at Trouw Nutrition (Nutreco/SHV), Director of Global Channel Management at NOVUS International (Mitsui), and Global Chief Commercial Officer at SyAqua Group.
Before that, I built and scaled businesses in European energy markets, including launching a greenfield business unit that grew to multi-million Euro revenue in a short time.
In APAC, I've been to almost every country in the region. I've sat across the table from distributors and key accounts from India to Japan — and learned how trust is built, negotiations unfold, and decisions are made differently in each market. I've managed over €50M in P&L, built multicultural teams of 50+ people across APAC, and delivered results like doubling profitability year-over-year and growing a business 3x under extreme conditions.
I know the distributors. I know the customers. I understand the cultural dynamics that make or break deals in this region — and I know how to work within them.
